This is an old revision of the document!

A surprising number of New York City offices, laboratories, and warehouses were involved in the top-secret Manhattan Project. While these New York City sites remain largely unmarked and unknown, they were a small but crucial part of the success of the project, and deserve to remembered.

The term “Manhattan Project” is commonly thought to be a misnomer, but the first offices of the Manhattan Project were at 270 Broadway.

I just came back from a road trip where one of my stops was a bus tour of the Oak Ridge site - Manhattan Project National Historical Park. The Manhattan Project is a fascinating mix of science and history, very cool!

I was amazed how many wrong answers were given to this question on Quora.

The Guru 42 Universe is not run by a university professor with a team of editors and advisers working to developing a website. Tom Peracchio is simply someone who loves technology and history and is amazed by how little people know about the great minds in the world of technology.
